What is the early consensus on using AI in treatment planning?
AI is all the rage and it's making its way in to dentistry in a big way. I'm looking for some objective evidence of its efficacy in treatment planning. I've talked to all the major players but I'd like to hear it from my peers (DDS+DMD). Open to learning from any of the big corporates that have implemented it as well.
Which clear aligner company is best?
A lot of my adult patients ask me about clear aligners. From what I can tell, and certainly from what we see in the practice, Invisalign is the clear leader from a brand recognition standpoint (haha ... no pun intended). Do any of their competitors rival them in terms of clinical quality? What about lab fees? The practice I work in has used Invisalign since I can remember when, but I've never had the confidence to recommend any other brands. Just seems like pushing Invisalign, versus a bra...
